Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Support catering events by preparing and serving food items as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or restaurant setting is highly essential. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service periods.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
