We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities, including basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff
Skills
Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or similar food service roles is desirable
Strong cooking and meal preparation skills with knowledge of food safety standards
Familiarity with food presentation and serving techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
