We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, catering, and service within a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service. Previous kitchen or catering experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food safety procedures to ensure all dishes meet quality standards Support the team in cooking, plating, and presentation of meals Help with food safety compliance, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Contribute to catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale meal production Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service processes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Work Location: In person
