An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kitchen Team member to join a brand-new venture at Cuerden. We are opening The Roost at Cuerden. As a Kitchen Team member you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day operation of the kitchen. You will be on the front line ensuring service is delivered to the best possible standard and food is prepared in line with dish specifications. We strive to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and as the engine room of the Roost the natural ability to work with people and maintain a professional approach is essential.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team member to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, food production, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and a passion for hospitality, with a background in restaurant management and culinary arts.
You will be required to work within our opening times which are:
Friday 4pm - 10pm
Saturday 1pm - 10pm
Sunday 1pm - 10pm
The above times can slightly differ from time to time, but they will be the core working hours.
Responsibilities
Effective communication and teamwork to deliver exceptional service.
Daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Delivering service to a high standard
Address any issues that arise during service promptly and efficiently, maintaining a calm and organised atmosphere.
Requirements
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a focus on kitchen duties
Work well within a team
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
