Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Worktops Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing kitchen worktops to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial kitchens. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of kitchen layouts and materials. The candidate should have experience in kitchen installation, carpentry, or related fields, with a focus on worktop fitting. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Install various types of worktops, including granite, quartz, and solid surface materials Securely fix worktops to cabinetry or underlying structures using appropriate fasteners and adhesives Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean and organised workspace during and after installations

Qualifications

Proven experience in kitchen worktop installation or related carpentry/cabinetry roles Strong knowledge of different worktop materials, including stone and solid surface options Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, levels, and squares Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or installation plans Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurement and cutting tasks Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Valid driver's license is preferred for transporting materials to job sites

Pay: 33,280.00-42,440.00 per year
