Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen/Cafe Coordinator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while managing in the daily operations of our community cafe. This position requires a passion for hospitality and food, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, customer restroom and equipment. Conduct daily recordings and weekly stock takes. Food preparation for catering events as needed, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Maintain coffee station duties by preparing drinks and managing the counter area Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain regular stock takes and preparing stock orders.

Qualifications

Previous experience within a similar role Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. A proactive attitude towards helping customers and colleagues alike. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and events as required. A qualification with the food and hospitality sector is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22 per week
