Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Oversee food production to ensure efficiency, consistency, and presentation. Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in organising kitchen operations, including stock control and inventory management. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly. Support the training of new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and service protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service during service hours. Contribute to menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment. Leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate team members and foster a positive work atmosphere. Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management. Experience in food preparation, serving, and general kitchen operations is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
