Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring dishes are prepared to standard Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations Help with meal assembly and presentation to ensure attractive and consistent dishes Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of ingredients Assist serving staff during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Support inventory management by organising supplies and notifying management of stock levels

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Familiarity with kitchen environments, including basic culinary skills such as meal preparation and food safety practices Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
