Kitchen & Counter Assistant - Cygnet Catering

Permanent | 12-25 hours per week | Aviator Cafe (Haddington) & John Muir Cafe (Dunbar)

Cygnet Catering is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Kitchen & Counter Assistant

to join our dedicated team across our two cafe locations -

Aviator Cafe

and

John Muir Cafe

.

Your role will require you to be flexible and travel between both sites. Full training will be provided by management.

We take great pride in the high standards we uphold across both sites, from the quality of our food & coffee to the warmth of our service. Key Responsibilities:

Lead food preparation and maintain excellent food handling standards Provide friendly, efficient front-of-house service to all customers Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming cafe environment Uphold Cygnet Catering's reputation for quality, consistency, and professionalism Work flexibly across both cafe locations (driving licence and own transport required)

About You:

Experienced in both food handling and customer service Proactive, self-motivated, and able to perform well under pressure Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player Passionate about great food and creating a positive experience for every customer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 25 per week
