Pasta Cosa, Albert Dock is a brand new site and we are currently recruiting for a kitchen/preparation assistant to join our small, busy team.

Ultimately, your role would involve getting menu items prepared in time for service, ensuring written specifications are followed correctly. You will also be expected to assist the kitchen team by helping to prepare side dishes for customers.

Other responsibilities would include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain high standards of food hygiene, storage, and cleanliness. Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils throughout service and follow the precise closing schedule to ensure all checks are completed. Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain compliance with food safety regulations including any direction given regarding allergens. Contribute positively to a team-oriented and professional kitchen environment.
Experience working in a busy kitchen environment within the hospitality industry is desirable. Also we would need you to be available for weekend work.

For the right candidate there is room for progression and this would involve being trained on preparing the main menu dishes from scratch.
