Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Fabricate components using hand tools and machinery, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. Assemble products according to detailed instructions and CAD designs. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment, including tooling and logic controllers, to prevent downtime. Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and inventory management within the warehouse. Collaborate with team members to optimise production workflows and maintain a clean working environment. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process, providing solutions to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery. Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting technical drawings is advantageous. Proficient in using hand tools and understanding tooling requirements for different tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues. Ability to handle materials safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
