With over 140,000 members in more than 140 countries, we play a vital role in shaping the world around us, ensuring that the built and natural environments are developed and managed responsibly, sustainably and ethically.

Our work supports professionals and organisations to deliver better outcomes for society through trusted qualifications, rigorous standards and a commitment to innovation.

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As Knowledge & Professional Practice Lead (internally titled Global Knowledge Base Communication & Content Lead), you'll play a central role in enabling our member facing teams to deliver consistently high quality service.

By designing and delivering structured learning experiences, managing a global knowledge base, and leading internal communication strategies, you'll help ensure that colleagues across regions feel informed, supported, and confident in their roles.

Your work will directly contribute to a clear and adaptable training plan that supports service goals and peak periods, a well maintained and accessible knowledge base that empowers performance, and communication that builds trust and clarity even in complex or fast moving situations. Through collaboration and insight, you'll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, helping teams stay engaged and equipped to meet the evolving needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify learning and development needs across departments and regions, and turn them into practical, engaging programmes.

- Design and deliver workshops, webinars, and digital learning resources that support professional practice.

- Manage a global knowledge base - keeping content accurate, accessible, and easy to use.

- Create and implement a content strategy that supports service delivery and operational excellence.

- Lead internal communication efforts that keep colleagues informed, aligned, and engaged.

- Support crisis communication planning and delivery when it matters most.

- Use data and feedback to continuously improve how we share knowledge and support our people.

We welcome applications from individuals based in countries where RICS has a global office, provided they reside in that country and already have the existing right to work there.

You can view the full list of RICS global office locations on the 'Where We Are page' on website. This includes offices across the UK, Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions.

About You

You're someone who thrives on helping others succeed. You know how to turn complex information into clear, useful content. You're comfortable leading conversations, facilitating learning, and working across teams and time zones. And you care deeply about quality, clarity, and impact.

You'll be successful in this role if you:

- Have experience designing and delivering structured learning and development programmes.

- Know how to manage content and knowledge systems (like CMS or LMS platforms).

- Communicate clearly and confidently - whether in writing, presenting, or facilitating.

- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities.

- Enjoy working collaboratively and influencing across different teams and regions.

- Use data and feedback to guide your decisions and improve outcomes.

- Have experience supporting internal communications, including during times of change.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits to support your work life balance, health, financial security and personal time.

For full-time staff, the standard working week is 35 hours, and we support flexible working arrangements where possible.
