The University of Stirling's Marketing and Retail Division at the University of Stirling Business School is seeking an ambitious and talented KTP Associate to join a 24-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Clevertouch Consulting, one of the UK's leading marketing technology (MarTech) consultancies.
This exciting role offers the chance to embed cutting-edge academic thinking into commercial practice, supporting the development of an innovative Digital Performance Intelligence (DPI) model. This model will transform how marketers understand and optimise digital marketing activities across customer lifecycles and business functions.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will be based primarily at Clevertouch Consulting's office in Alresford, Hampshire, working closely with the Strategy and Innovation teams. Regular virtual and in-person meetings will also be held with academic supervisors from the University of Stirling, ensuring strong collaborative support throughout the project.

Description of Duties
As KTP Associate, you will lead the research, development, and implementation of a novel Digital Performance Intelligence (DPI) model that redefines how digital marketing performance is measured and interpreted. This will involve combining insights from marketing, behavioural science, and data analytics to develop a holistic framework for understanding the impact of marketing across the customer journey.
You will gather and analyse real-world data from Clevertouch clients, design and test a performance dashboard solution, and work closely with internal teams to embed the model into day-to-day operations and client-facing tools. Your work will involve both qualitative and quantitative research, model development, dashboard visualisation, and the creation of training materials to support adoption across the organisation.
The role also includes academic engagement with supervisors from the University of Stirling, contributing to knowledge exchange, publications, and potential conference presentations. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-impact innovation project that blends academic rigour with commercial relevance, transforming how digital marketing value is measured and communicated.
Essential Criteria
A Master's degree (PhD preferred) in marketing, behavioural science, data science, psychology, or a related discipline
Experience designing and executing empirical research (qualitative and/or
quantitative) Awareness (working knowledge preferred) of digital marketing principles and
associated technologies/platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot) Analytical skills and familiarity with tools for data analysis and visualisation (e.g.,
Tableau, Power BI, R, Python) General interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications within marketing and data analytics
Ability to keep abreast of current trends in AI and evaluate their potential for practical, value-adding use in digital marketing contexts
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical
stakeholders Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Desirable Criteria
Commercial experience in a marketing, consultancy, or data-driven role
Understanding of decision-making frameworks in organisational contexts
Experience managing or visualising data from multiple platforms (e.g., CRM, MAP, analytics tools)
