IT Officer (Administrator)

to join their business in the UK.

KDB London is the European hub for the KDB Global Network offering diverse financial services in the areas of corporate finance, trade finance, derivatives, securities investment and treasury.

1. Job Title:

IT Officer (Administrator)

This is an ideal role for someone looking to start or develop a career in IT support. Prior experience is preferred but not required, we welcome candidates who are willing to learn. A background in administration or previous experience in a professional office environment would be an advantage. You will be supporting IT functions across the office and liaising with our Head Office in Korea.

2. Main Functions:



Completion of daily, monthly and other regular tasks according to the IT manual and checklists. Provide technical support for IT related systems including PCs, monitors, laptops, servers, telephony and video conferencing equipment. Assist staff with support for video conferencing systems as required. Support staff using the work from home VDI system. To maintain an ongoing list of outstanding system and hardware improvements and gain senior management approval for the prioritisation of this list. To ensure that all software is adequately tested prior to live running. Maintain IT security by ensuring that all data remains secure and that an adequate data security policy is in place, and ensure that all hardware is physically secure. Assist in the management of contracts and relationships with systems related suppliers, including payment of regular invoices. Liaise with Head Office Department responsible for the supervising of system improvements to obtain authorisation and support for the task. Contribute to IT documentation and ensuring that such documentation is kept up to date and accurate. Any other necessary function of department time to time.

4. Preferred Qualifications and Skills:



Fluent in English & Korean Educated to degree level Experience in providing IT support role preferred but not necessary Background in an administration is a plus but not essential Strong communication and problem-solving skills
