Treasury Officer

to join their business in the UK.

KDB London is the European hub for the KDB Global Network offering diverse financial services in the areas of corporate finance, trade finance, derivatives, securities investment and treasury.

1. Job Title:

Treasury Officer

2. Main Functions:

Manage KDB London's bond portfolio Manage the funding requirements of the Branch through a variety of funding tools Ensure that the liquidity requirements are met in accordance with targets set by Committee Manage the Branch's derivatives business and assist in the marketing and development of customer business.

3. Key Tasks:

Make reports on topics of global economy or companies we are interested in through analysing key factors of global economy/industries/companies in order to establish investment strategies or rebalance our portfolio. Suggest portfolio managing ideas and execute actual buy/sell of selected securities. Monitor any macro and credit issues that may affect the companies in our portfolio and execute appropriate action in timely manner. Manage daily cash flow of the branch and make optimal funding schedule that meets all funding needs and capital requirements. Borrow money from the market using various money market products like ECP, CD, interbank MM, and also through GMTN and deposits. Monitor market developments, and suggest strategies to structure the funding books to ensure funding safety and maximise yield on placement and minimise cost of funding while liquidity targets are met. Execute FX trades to match requirement of multicurrency books and for clients/internal requirements. Execute derivatives trades (i.e. IRS, CRS) and monitor the exposure considering all relevant risk factors. Perform all other relevant tasks in performing key tasks mentioned above, and requested by the Head of Treasury.

4. Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Fluent in both Korean and English Less than 2 years of experience Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across different cultural and professional backgrounds. Proficient in MS office applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to details Excellent time management and organizational skills
