1. Job summary:



KORLOY, a global leader in high-performance cutting tools, is establishing its UK branch and is seeking an experienced Sales Manager based in the Midlands (currently Coventry).

KORLOY supplies carbide inserts and advanced machining solutions to industries including automotive, aerospace, and general engineering worldwide.

As the Sales Manager for KORLOY UK, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and achieving targets for our cutting tool product lines. This role is key to expanding KORLOY's presence and customer base in the UK market.

Location:

KORLOY UK Branch - currently based in Coventry (final office location to be confirmed: Coventry, Warwick, or Birmingham)

Job Type:

Full-time / 12 month Fixed-Term Contract (renewable annually)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day (08:30 - 17:30)

Branch Director

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities



Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share. Identify and engage new customers across key sectors, including automotive, aerospace, and general engineering. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and distribution partners. Provide technical support and application guidance on KORLOY products. Liaise with headquarters to communicate customer needs and feedback. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to inform business decisions. Represent KORLOY at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

3. Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in carbide cutting tools or machine tool accessories. In-depth knowledge of the UK machining or manufacturing market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel throughout the UK as needed. Fluent in English Full UK Driving License (required)
