We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary team by ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and fully stocked. Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support the cooking staff by providing necessary ingredients and supplies during service. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is advantageous. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
