We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter (KP) to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods by providing timely assistance. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times. Assist in receiving deliveries and storing food items appropriately.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality setting, particularly within kitchens or restaurants, is advantageous but not essential. A strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others. Understanding of basic food hygiene practices is preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: 12.25-13.25 per hour
