Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 & KS2 English & Maths Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves teaching foundational English and Maths skills to young learners, ensuring they develop essential competencies while promoting a love for learning.
Duties
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in English and Maths tailored to the needs of KS1 and KS2 students. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in staff meetings. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding student performance and any concerns. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration of language and mathematics.
Requirements
Strong behaviour management skills to effectively handle diverse classroom dynamics. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
Work Location: In person
