Key Stage 2 Teacher

A primary school in Brent are seeking a full-time Key Stage 2 Teacher. The role is a class teaching position, with flexibility on year group within KS2, and with competitive salary available in line with experience.

This Ofsted graded Outstanding school situated in an attractive, leafy part of Brent, North West London are looking to appoint outstanding and inspirational teachers to join their team. The headteacher is looking for a teacher with Key Stage 2 experience who is keen to join their Outstanding staff team.

The responsibilities for this Key Stage 2 Teacher role will include:

• Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class (flexibility on year group)
• Maintaining a positive learning environment through classroom management among the pupils and safeguarding their health and safety
• Preparation of pupils for SATs examinations
• Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs

To join us and be successful in this Key Stage 2 Teacher role you will need to:

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
