KS2 Teaching Assistant Full-Time
Penwortham Area, Preston
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: 313.75 per hour
A friendly and supportive primary school in the Penwortham area of Preston is looking to appoint a full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
About the Role:
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday, term time only)
- Working with pupils across Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6)
- Supporting classroom learning, small group work, and 1:1 intervention
- Collaborating closely with teachers to help children reach their full potential
- Previous experience working with KS2 pupils is desirable but not essential
- Positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with children and staff
- Relevant TA qualifications or training (advantageous)
- A welcoming and inclusive school environment
- A supportive leadership and teaching team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
