About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
KS2 Teaching Assistant
to join a welcoming
mainstream primary school in Wembley
. This role involves providing
1:1 support for SEN pupils
, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them access learning and make progress across the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on a
1:1 basis with SEN pupils
in a KS2 setting
Provide tailored support to meet individual learning and social needs
Assist pupils both
inside and outside the classroom
, encouraging independence and engagement
Implement personalised strategies in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO
Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and inclusion
Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with
SEN
in a school setting (KS2 experience desirable)
Ability to adapt and differentiate learning to meet individual needs
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential
