Salary

: M1 to M6 (Pro - Rata)

Employment Basis

: Part-time

Weekly Hours

: 5.75 hours per week, plus 1 hours Prep/Admin - Wednesday & Friday

Teaching Focus

: Computer Science GCSE for Year 7, 8 and 9 students

Responsibilities

:

- Deliver engaging and interactive Computer Science GCSE lessons to Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students

- Guide students through programming projects, understanding algorithms, and exploring the history of computing

- Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and growth

- Cultivate an environment that fosters creativity and exploration in the field of technology

- Create an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere

Requirements

:

- Experience teaching Computer Science at GCSE level

- Passion for computer science education and student engagement

- Solid understanding of programming concepts, algorithmic principles, and the history of computing

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse levels of experience and abilities
