Dedicated to providing a high quality of service to cover the requirements of farmers, contractors, local authorities and others. Farmstar Ltd has 3 established depots serving the Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire areas!



We are seeking a dynamic Kubota Groundcare Sales Representative to join our team based between our Farmstar Brigg and Marr Depots! The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication and excellent customer service.

The main duties of the post are as follows:


Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying Kubota's products or services

Communicating with customers before and after a sale

Delivering presentations for persuading customers to buy new Kubota products or services

Processing Kubota sales transactions

Liaising with the Sales Administrator for paperwork and updates on Kubota machinery and ground care equipment

Resolving customer complaints and concerns

Confidently liaise with the customer to keep them up to date with estimated delivery schedule, quotes service contracts, warranty, or other information pertaining to purchase products Maintaining an in-depth understanding of Kubota's products or services

Prepares sales contacts for orders obtained and work completely in line with a sales process

Attending conferences and training at Kubota Head Office to understand industry trends

Assist with promoting franchises and attend marketing shows and events

Find new sale avenues

Hit sales targets and margins in accordance with the finance team

Supply call logs and attendances on customer sites.

Develop a strong working relationship with the marketing department to help push Farmstar products for advertisement purposes

Have the ability to proactively recommend changes in customer agricultural machinery and equipment

The ability to work as part of the Sales Team and on own initiative

Be able to compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads and use the sales conversation rates effectively

Report on monthly targets and results to Sales Manager

To Fulfil This Role You Must Have:


Excellent customer service skills

Ability to sell products and services

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

IT Literate with a keen eye for detail

An excellent telephone manner

Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients

Strong self-motivation and a good use of initiative

Proficiency in using smartphones and digital technologies to enhance communication

Adept at using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data

In-depth knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports

Public speaking skills

Previous experience in agriculture is advantageous.

The salary bracket above is based on basic salary plus a bonus/commission structure.
