About the role



As a CBRE Lab Technical Planner/ Coordinator, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is within the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Lab Managers regarding all repairs and maintenance plans.
This is an onsite role Monday-Friday at a Life Science/ Pharmaceutical site located in Concord, NC.

What you'll do



Work with the client and vendors to implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats for Lab equipment PMs, maintenance and repairs Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders.
Collect information reports to find out performance and progress status.
File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
Manage activities that happen outside the building, such as appropriate waste disposal and recycling.
Follow guidelines, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions.
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship.



What you'll need



GMP manufacturing experience CMMS experience (Maximo/GMARS a bonus). Writing permits (Safe Work Permits, JHA) helpful. Mechanical knowledge for escorting vendors (Lab Equipment- Maintenance/Repairs) Job Planning/Material Procurement. Organized/Multitasking. Computer Skills (Excel, Word). Lock Out/Tag Out ( Vendor Safety) High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality. Strong Vendor management skills and scheduling work in advance.
