Neuranics is a fast-growing fabless semiconductor company pioneering the future of magnetic sensing solutions. Based in Glasgow, we are developing cutting-edge Tunnelling Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors that are enabling the next generation of wearables, XR, and advanced human-machine interaction.

Job Summary:



As a Lab Technician, you will carry out assembly and testing of TMR devices. This role involves working closely with the sensors team, contributing to sensor development and customer products, whilst ensuring the successful deployment of our TMR sensors. You will play a key role in shaping product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:



Support biomedical testing, including: Design and creation of wood based tools for biomedical testing of sensors on human subjects Modify and optimise these set ups based on user feedback Support sensor and electronics assembly including: Wire bonding Laser cutting Soldering pick-and-place machine operation reflow ovens inspection systems 3D printing Process improvement

Requirements:



3-5 years' experience in design, product assembly or other hands-on technical role. Strong problem solving and design skills: ability to observe the ongoing experiments with human subjects and design suitable setups independently without needing detailed sketches. Strong tool proficiency: skilled in 3D printing, woodworking tools and basic hand tools for precise designing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical teams as required and modify test set ups based on user feedback Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills

Desirable:



Experience in PCB design, python, and CAD Experience with carpentry and jig assembly Familiarity with sensors and biomedical testing
