The Role: Laboratory Assistant



As a busy UKAS accredited Microbiology Laboratory catering for an internationally recognised client, providing a fast, efficient and accurate service, we are now recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant.

This role will be based within our Quality Control Department, working in our independent laboratory situated at our Bonnybridge Site.

The successful candidate will assist with the testing of Culture Media, raw materials and environmental samples. This is a fast moving, high turnaround department, to ensure that all the testing is carried out in direct accordance with instructions, as well as in strict compliance with the relevant Standard Test Methods.

To be considered for this role you will hold a degree in a relevant science subject. Experience working in a Laboratory environment will be an advantage, although full training will be given to the successful candidate. You will have excellent attention to detail, with strong communication skills, and be a team player.

Hours of work:



This shift pattern rotates each week between:

Mon to Thu 08.00 to 17.00, Fri 08.00 to 14.00 (40hrs per week) Mon to Thu 08.30 to 17.30, Fri 08.00 to 14.00 (40hrs per week)
