Laboratory Assistant
Job Description
:
Petrolab provides technical support services to the mining and construction industries worldwide.
Our Lab Technicians will:
Help with sample logistics (must be able to lift 10-20kg)
Help prepare samples using cutting and grinding machinery
Help in our thin section lab to produce samples for microscopy
Help in our mineralogy preparation lab to produce mining samples for analysis
Applicants need to work well in a busy environment requiring daily manual handling and practical skills. The laboratory work requires good craftmanship; the ability to work accurately following strict procedures with attention to fine detail with a high-quality finish.
