Working on a lubricants/ oil plant. Duties would include but are not restricted to:
- Sampling tanks and tankers.
- Performing laboratory tests and experiments under the supervision of a senior laboratory technician/manager.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data from experiments and tests.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Reporting of results to the Shift manager.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organised work environment

- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

- Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
After initial training, hours will be on a shift basis (6am -3pm, 3pm - 11pm). A shift allowance will be paid for this. Overtime is normally available
