The Role and Responsibilities
: This role is within our operations team and reports to the Director of Operations. It will entail being a key early member of a growing team as Fuse commercialises its products and increases production capacity as well as continuing to support internal R&D activities through provision of products internally. Successful candidates can expect career progression through promotion as the company grows and through being trained in a wide variety of transferrable skills.
The expected duties are listed below; the successful applicant will be trained in all aspects of performing the role but direct experience in similar roles will be viewed favourably.
Formulation of reagents using a range of laboratory equipment; pipettes, balances, mixers
Manual assembly of small physical parts
Use of other laboratory manufacturing equipment including lateral flow strip production equipment, freeze dryers, autoclaves, heat sealers etc
Supporting equipment maintenance and calibration
Supporting development and implementation of new manufacturing processes
Kitting and packaging of final product
Preparing customer shipments
Accurate completion of manufacturing documentation
Use of electronic systems such as electronic quality management systems, label printers etc
Support inventory management activities
Regular cleaning of laboratories and equipment
Strict compliance with company procedures and work instructions
