Profile





Are you looking for a hands-on laboratory role that contributes to environmental research and remediation?


We're looking for a proactive and organised Laboratory Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our laboratory. This is a practical, hands-on role ideal for someone with laboratory experience who enjoys working across both laboratory and field environments. You'll play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of remediation projects through bench-scale trials, testing, and technical research.


You'll work closely with our engineers and technical teams, helping to shape the future of sustainable land remediation.

What you will be doing:




As a Laboratory Supervisor, you'll:

Take ownership of the laboratory's daily operations, ensuring it is clean, organised, and well-equipped. Support the design and delivery of bench-scale trials and scientific investigations. Collect and prepare samples from both lab and field environments. Conduct laboratory and field-based testing, ensuring accurate and reliable data. Analyse and interpret test results, presenting findings to technical teams. Maintain stock levels and manage laboratory equipment. Drive continuous improvement in lab practices, safety, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture. Stay up to date with technical developments and research new methodologies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

What you should bring to the role:




To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A degree in a science-based subject (or A-levels with relevant experience). Prior experience in a laboratory environment. A strong interest in environmental science, contaminated land, or waste treatment. Confidence working independently and taking initiative. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a willingness to learn. A practical, hands-on approach and enjoyment of both lab and fieldwork. A good understanding of health and safety in lab and site settings.
