We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to help coordinate and execute developmental, application, and operational testing within our laboratory.
Please note: Due to the working hours and on-site requirements, we are only able to consider applicants who currently live within a reasonable commuting distance to Newton Abbot.

The Role
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in supporting product development, technical testing, and operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Product development:
Executing key design and development projects on new and existing products
Technical support:
Conducting application testing and reporting results to support the sales process
Operational support:
Manufacturing and testing small-batch ingredients to support mainstream production
Quality control testing:
Carrying out specified QC tests to confirm operational processes, where required
Laboratory management:
Maintaining an efficient and safe laboratory, including equipment maintenance, basic repairs, calibration support, and ensuring consumables are adequately stocked
The Skills You Will Bring
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
Mechanical testing and analytical testing experience (desirable)
Ability to manage your own time effectively and work independently in a methodical and accurate manner
Strong attention to detail, ensuring quality standards and daily deadlines are met
Good IT literacy, with confidence using manufacturing or laboratory software systems
Minimum of three A-levels or equivalent (science-based subjects preferred)
A degree in a science-related field is desirable, but not essential
