Laboratory Technician

Job Type:

Temporary - 12 months

Location:

Hebden Bridge

Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

24,868 pa

As a Laboratory Technician, you will assist the team in delivering an efficient, high quality food allergen and authenticity analysis using ELISA and DNA/protein based methodologies

Accurately follow laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures for the preparation and extraction of samples for analysis Working to strict deadlines to ensure compliance Complete all laboratory documentation in a timely and compliant manner To assist with sample registration using internal system as and when required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience in:

Knowledge of allergen testing in food - highly advantageous Previous Laboratory experience - essential Qualifications within Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Biology - essential
