Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within our warehouse environment, including materials handling, stock management, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting, making it essential for candidates to be fit and capable of working in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble products as required for shipping or storage. Engage in picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Manage stock levels, ensuring that materials are organised and readily available. Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading goods from lorries. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are accounted for. Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or labour-intensive role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols is advantageous. Experience with heavy lifting is necessary; candidates should be physically fit to perform demanding tasks. Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes will be beneficial. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus, particularly with AS400 or similar software.
