PURPOSE OF JOB ROLE:
Responsible for the daily organising of all labour requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Full driving licence, reliable, a team player and ability work within a small team, ability to work on own initiative administration skills, ability to communicate, organised. Proficient in Excel. Excellent problem-solving skills.
SHIFT PATTERNS:
4 X 10-hour shifts including every other Sunday.
SALARY:
38,000 to 42,000 per annum depending on experience
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Labour Allocators is responsible for organising labour requirements of all employees across the division, managing holiday requests and monitoring attendance management.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Inputting all data into the rostering system, skills matching and then allocating the work out to employees via email.
Managing and Allocating holiday requests for all employees.
Collating Labour Data for senior management.
Dealing with all Labour related queries and attending DPW labour meetings.
Conduct Probation review meetings.
Process employees at the end of contract/transfer to customer.
GENERAL TASKS
Ensure that all SCPS labour is allocated in line with Operational requirements.
Attend daily labour meetings with the customer ensuring that all requirements are covered
Allocating Labour daily
Dealing with any queries from the customer
Cover any absence and holiday ensuring that the operation is seamless
Responsible with ensuring that all labour know when they are working next
Receiving and answering phone calls
Emailing out any changes and confirming receipt
Answering the phone and informing individuals of their allocation.
Accommodating all holiday requests where possible.
Ensuring that holidays limits are adhered to.
Ensuring all holidays are booked within the requires timeframe.
Ensuring that current absent levels are taking into consideration
Dealing with any requests
Liaising with Payroll
Informing them of any changes that will affect an individual's pay
Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to by employees.
Ad hoc duties as and when required and as directed by the General Operations Manager.
