This is an opportunity to join our skilled, friendly, professional, and caring team, we are looking for an experienced midwife who wants to be part of the exciting future plans within Maternity Department.



The successful candidate will be committed to leading and managing the day to day activity on labour suite whilst ensuring the safety of mothers and their babies. You will be required to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of both low and high risk midwifery. You will act as a professional role model to the wider team, setting examples to all disciplines.

Provide a full range of care and health education in a hospital setting performing clinical midwifery duties.



Act as experienced mentor for less experienced midwives and student midwives.



Assess the full range of care needs and develop, implement and evaluate provision of care throughout the childbirth period for women and their babies.



Continuing responsibility for the day to day management of the allocated area, ensuring delivery of high standard of midwifery care through effective management of staff and resources within the service
