Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction and maintenance projects. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Labourer will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organised.

Duties

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site clean-up to maintain a tidy work environment. Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials as required. Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving items as needed. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg). Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.95-14.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
