Labourer - Care Facility Maintenance

We're looking for a reliable Labourer to join the maintenance team on a large care facility site. The role involves supporting tradesmen with general labouring and maintenance tasks around the property, helping to keep the building and grounds safe, tidy and well maintained.


This position would suit someone with experience in facilities, construction or general labouring who takes pride in their work and can maintain a professional attitude within a live care environment.


Key Responsibilities


Assisting maintenance staff with general repairs and upkeep


Carrying tools, materials and equipment between work areas


Basic labouring, lifting and site preparation


Maintaining a clean and safe working environment


Supporting with minor decorating, cleaning and basic DIY tasks as required


Working respectfully around residents and staff in a live care setting


Requirements


Previous experience as a labourer or maintenance assistant


Valid DBS certificate (essential due to care environment)


Full UK driving licence and own transport


Reliable, punctual and professional approach


Able to work as part of a small, hands-on team
