We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role is crucial for maintaining the productivity of our operations and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team.
Responsibilities
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work site.
Follow instructions from supervisors and assist in various tasks as required.
Operate basic machinery and tools safely, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed.
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to management promptly.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a construction or industrial setting is advantageous.
Experience with hand tools and machinery is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
