Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Self Employed Labourer to join our team on an

AD-HOC BASIS.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting solar panel installations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Mainly working in Essex / London however future bookings may require working away.

Duties

Assist with solar installs both roof and ground mounted Assist with loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles. Perform general site maintenance and cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, following all safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in completing projects on time. Maintain accurate records of materials used and tasks completed throughout the day. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential.

Valid CSCS Card

UTR Number

Valid driver's licence

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial environment. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. Pay: 120.00-180.00 per day
