Responsibilities

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and supplies Supporting the movement of goods or materials around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workspaces to uphold health and safety standards Assisting tradespeople or supervisors with specific tasks as directed Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Reporting any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Requirements

Previous experience in manual labour or construction is advantageous but not essential Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Good organisational skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a work environment Willingness to learn new skills and take on different responsibilities as needed Must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic
