Mahoney Contracts have progressively diversified to produce commercial new build, fit outs and refurbishment services to a wide range of clients. Our client base includes: Commercial & Retail, Education, Healthcare, Housing and Leisure.

We offer a full design and build package, and always strive for new innovations in a moving market, keeping abreast of the latest technology.

As we continue our planned UK growth strategy, we now need several new team members for mid to long term opportunities. On the back of a series of sustained large project wins, we currently have the following vacancy.

General Construction Labourer:

General construction site labouring including site cleanliness

Driving company van to collect material

General strip out and demolition

Moving on site materials to ensure trades-persons have materials when required

Assisting other trades with general tasks (mortar mixing, wood cutting etc.)

Ensure any health and safety hazards are reported/removed (slip & trip hazards, untidy cables)

Previous building site experience is required. If you had experience in a similar role that would be highly advantageous.

You will be able to demonstrate, at interview, excellent knowledge of best practice health and safety in the work place and on construction and live project sites, your positive approach and commitment to delivering an effective customer service experience as well as an ability to create successful and respectful relationships with customers, colleagues and other departments.

This role is working away across the UK midweek and candidates must possess a current UK driving licence. CIS basis

Working Hours - The minimum working week will be 40 hours, with opportunities to extend this

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00 per hour
