Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Must have a valid driving licence as this is an integral part of the job.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe working environment. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, adhering to safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. A valid driver's licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
