Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a self employed basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and clean-up of work sites. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required. Load and unload materials from lorries. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks effectively. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
