Job Overview:

As a Labourer for our Caterform factory you will have the responsibility of supporting the production team in the manufacture of commercial catering equipment by carrying out essential manual tasks such as deburring laser-cut metal parts and assisting laser operatives with material handling. This role is critical to maintaining the quality and efficiency of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and smooth edges of laser-cut metal components using appropriate tools (e.g., grinders, sanders, deburring machines). Inspect finished parts for quality and finish, ensuring they meet required standards. Assist laser operatives by safely lifting and loading metal sheets onto laser cutting machines. Organise and prepare material for upcoming jobs to keep production flowing efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Follow health and safety procedures at all times, especially when handling heavy materials and operating tools. Support other general labouring duties as directed by the supervisor.

Experience Required:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred but not essential. Physically capable of lifting heavy metal sheets. Attention to detail and awareness of high-quality standards. Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
