We are looking for a Labourer to join our team, supporting our Stonewater Housing contract and covering Bristol and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for stock control, receiving and managing deliveries, assisting with the skip area and providing general site support
The Client
Our contract with Stonewater is long term with the option to extend the partnership again. On our contract we cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and our senior leadership team has years of experience within this sector which can help you develop your learning and knowledge base.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Labourer responsibilities will include: o Manage stock control by receiving and organising deliveries efficiently. o Assist with the skip area, ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and the site remains tidy. o Provide general labouring support, including fetching and carrying materials as needed. o Operate a forklift safely to move materials and equipment around the site. o Work collaboratively with the team, following site safety procedures and supporting project tasks.
What You Will Need
Essential Criteria o Previous experience in a similar role o Full UK driving licence (maximum 5 points) Desirable Criteria o Previous experience working in a social housing setting
