We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required. This position offers valuable hands-on experience across multiple aspects of construction, including site preparation, material handling, and basic installation tasks. Must have experience working with plasterers/renderers. Must have own tools, PPE and transport

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment necessary for ongoing projects Support plasterers/renderers in their tasks Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as trained and authorized Prepare surfaces for installation or finishing work including framing, drywall, or flooring Assist with finishing, and masonry work as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction tools including hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when trained Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Willingness to learn new skills related to construction management, estimating, inspection, or fabrication
