The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking

Labourer

to join our busy

joinery workshop

. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople and joiners with day-to-day workshop operations, general labouring tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the joinery and manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist joiners and machinists with material handling and preparation. Load, unload, and move timber, panels, and finished products around the workshop. Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop, tools, and equipment. Support production processes such as sanding, assembly, and packing. Help with deliveries, stock control, and waste management. Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly. Perform other general duties as directed by the Workshop Manager.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Labourer. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving license is preferred.
