Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks across different projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions closely. If no transport the transportation to site can be arranged if local. Up on successful completion of probation a company vehicle can be arranged.

Responsibilities

Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe working environment. Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, adhering to safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed, providing assistance where necessary. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.

Skills

Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 8.60-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
