Job Description

Cosworth are looking for a Labourer to join our Manufacturing team and manage essential operational responsibilities to keep our workflow running smoothly. This role involves transporting components across the UK, handling departmental logistics, and supporting production needs, including forklift operation.

The Role:

Transportation of components to & from subcontractors (nationwide) Transport components between departments. Ensure all components have all relevant associated paperwork and is correct. Support production with forklift requirements. Basic maintenance and report issues with van / forklift truck. Ensure truck fuel levels are maintained. Delivery of finished components to dispatch department. Empty swarf bins. Maintain compound and ensure it is kept a clean & tidy condition. Remove pallets from various locations around site. Removal of general/hazardous waste. Arrange the collection of scrap materials and machine emulsions. Arrange the collection of pallets and barrels. Empty scrap collection bins. Removal of confidential waste. Liaise with contractors/vendors. Keep working area clean and tidy. Be committed to continuous improvement and suggest improvements regarding methods and processes. Ensure that information is transferred between departments and team members as required. Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities. Support the Company's compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile:

Driving license and counterbalance license essential Good time management with an ability to plan and prioritise work Basic SAP knowledge & PC skills. Change oriented and keen to promote forward thinking, Effective communicator both verbal and written. Committed and enthusiastic.

Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30


Friday 07:30 - 15:30
